Hulō! We are excited to announce the 59th Annual Merrie Monarch Festival Royal Parade will be happening and in-person! The festival will be held April 17-23, 2022 with the Royal Parade scheduled for Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 10:30 AM.
We would like to take this opportunity to extend a mahalo nui loa to Aunty Missy Kaleohano who has been in charge of the parade for many years. Our parade committee has been going through a transition with a new leadership team that will be spearheading the planning and coordination of the parade. We would like to introduce Kanoe Wilson and Koral Wilson who will be taking on the lead roles as the new Co-Chairpersons.
We could never have a successful festival or parade without you and to that end, have added the link to the entry form to be completed as your commitment to participate.
Parade entry forms are due by Sunday, April 3, 2022.
Please fill out the entry form to the best of your ability as this will be crucial to planning the parade and if we need to contact your organization in the case of a cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances.
A confirmation email will be sent once we receive your entry form confirming your organization’s participation in the parade. A parade guidelines packet will be sent to you at least two weeks prior to the parade that will give you specific details on the check-in process, parking, COVID protocols and safety procedures. Please note that this year there will be no judging for floats.

Disclaimer: Due to COVID circumstances beyond the festival’s control it may necessitate a cancellation of the parade. The parade committee will contact your organization right away should a cancellation occur.
